Now we know the gorgeous milder weather of the past few days was the calm before the storm.

Most of southern Ontario is under various weather warnings.

There’s a winter storm warning for much of the area with freezing rain warnings for others including Halton-Peel regions.

The storm’s expected to bring freezing rain to areas in the southwest, a snow and ice pellets mix over the GTA with heavy snow in eastern Ontario.

Toronto’s looking at possibly as much as 15-centimetres with up to 20 possible in cottage country and to the east.
