Regional officials in southern and western Russia are reporting a string of drone attacks near the border with Ukraine and deep inside the country.

Also, the hacking of Russian TV channels and radio stations as well as the temporary closure of St. Petersburg’s airport fed suspicion Tuesday that Kyiv could be behind the disruption as Ukrainian forces defend their sovereign nation against Vladimir Putin’s Russian invasion.

Local Russian authorities said there was a flurry of drone attacks targeting Russian regions bordering Ukraine on Monday night and Tuesday morning.

Also, Russia’s state RIA Novosti agency reported that a fire broke out at an oil depot in Russia’s Krasnodar region, east of Crimea, late Monday.

Russian Telegram channels claimed that two drones exploded near the depot.
