After the city completed streetcar track replacement on College Street, there’s more construction starting this week.
It involves putting elevated bicycle tracks from Manning to Spadina avenues, and street-level tracks from Spadina to Bay Street.
During construction, traffic on the stretch of College from Manning to Spadina will be reduced to one share lane in each direction and existing bike lanes will be closed.
Cyclists may have to dismount and use sidewalks or take Harbord Street as an alternate route.
Construction is to take place from 7a.m. to 11p.m. weekdays, possibly extending into after hours or weekends.
This is expected to last until May.
TTC stops may be temporarily removed or relocated.
