Two ramps connecting downtown Toronto to the Gardiner Expressway have been closed for six weeks.
The Bay Street ramp onto the eastbound Gardiner and the eastbound ramp down to Jarvis Street are closed to allow repair work on the ramps and roadway.
If you normally get off the Gardiner at Jarvis, you’ll have to take the York-Bay-Yonge off-ramp.
The closure is part of a ten-year, multi-million-dollar refurbishment of the aging expressway after a series of incidents where chunks of concrete fell onto the roadways below.
