China’s Xinhua news agency says its government website has images of suspected debris of a missing Malaysia Airlines jet.
The satellite images from Sunday morning appear to show “Three suspected floating objects” of varying sizes.
Officials say they don’t know which direction the plane was headed – and it may have turned back from its last known position between Malaysia and Vietnam.
The aircraft had 239 people aboard, including two Canadians, and was last heard from on Saturday.
