Public transit in Toronto is ranked the best in Canada by a Seattle-based company that aims to help people find places to live based on walkability. Walk Score puts Toronto transit ahead of Montreal and Vancouver, while other GTA and Ontario cities failed to make it into the top ten. The survey took into account a variety of services including bus, light rain and subway, as well as frequency of routes and number of stops. Toronto scored 78, Montreal 77 while Vancouver rounded out the top three at 74. The next highest was Brampton at 48, Richmond Hill came in at 45 while the lowest ranked city was Milton at 15.
