Malaysia’s transport minister says the country’s ”deeply concerned” that the site in Ukraine, where that Malaysia airliner was shot down Thursday ”has not been properly secured.”

He says that ”the integrity of the site has been compromised, and there are indications that vital evidence has not been preserved in place.”

He adds Malaysia needs ”the support of the world to ensure that the site is not tampered, that we have access to the site.”

Meanwhile, Ukrainian officials accuse Russia of helping the rebels destroy evidence at the site.

They claim the separatists have taken some of the remains to the rebel-held city of Donetsk.

All 298 aboard were killed, including a 24-year old Ajax man.

The West believes the airliner was shot down by a surface-to-air missile in the part of eastern Ukraine controlled by Russian-backed rebels.
