About 96-hundred hospital workers across the province have a new two-year collective agreement.
The deal is retroactive to April 1st of this year and gives all employees a 1.4 per cent wage increase – in each of the two years.
The Ontario Public Service Employees Union says the contract – issued by arbitrator Robert Herman – covers workers at 50 hospitals in the province.
Among those covered are audiologists, physiotherapists, pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, and speech language pathologists.
