Canadians love Culture Days.
Approximately 2 million of us came out to celebrate arts and culture this weekend – when there were over 7,500 free activities in more than 800 Canadian cities and towns.
The 5th anniversary of the event set a record for attendance and gave people unique opportunities to explore the inner workings of the world of artists and cultural organizations – through behind the scenes and interactive activities.
Culture Days was founded in 2009.
The non-profit organization is dedicated to building a cross-country network of cultural connections, to give Canadians a chance to participate in and appreciate all forms of art and culture.
