It’s that time of year when the cost of the gifts in The Twelve Days of Christmas is tallied up. This year, there’s little to no increase.
According to the 31st annual PNC Wealth Management Christmas Price Index, a set of gifts in each verse of the song would set you back just under $27,673 in stores, an increase of less than $300 or 1 percent from last year.
Only the cost of six geese-a-laying spiked considerably this year, from $210 last year to $360 this year.
The most expensive item on the list is nine ladies dancing. A single performance would be just over $7553, the same as last year.
