Joan Rivers has left her only child Melissa in charge of her fortune.
Rivers names Melissa as Executor in her will with “The broadest and most absolute permissible direction” – over a fortune estimated as high as $150 million.
The late comedienne asked that her business manager Michael D. Karlin and interior designer Robert Higdon be named Co-executors of the living trust.
Rivers died on September 4th of brain damage and had stopped breathing during a medical procedure days earlier.
A New York State report says the Manhattan clinic Rivers was at failed to identify her deteriorating vital signs.
She was 81 years old.
