“Birdman” continues to climb.

The film has 13 Critics’ Choice Awards nominations – including best picture, director and actor – for star Michael Keaton.

The Broadcast Film Critics Association has just announced its selections for the annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards.

Wes Anderson’s “The Grand Budapest Hotel,” and the coming-of-age story “Boyhood,” are next – with 11 and eight nominations, respectively.
Other best picture nominees with multiple honours include “Interstellar,” ”Gone Girl,” ”Selma,” ”The Theory of Everything,” ”Unbroken” and ”Whiplash.”

The Critics’ Choice Awards have a solid track record of matching the eventual best picture Oscar winner.
