The Canadians have all charged into the third round of the Australian Open. Vancouver’s Vasek Pospisil struggled with niggling injuries Thursday, but still managed a four set win over Italian Paolo Lorenzi. Then it was Thornhill’s Milos Raonic who fired 17 aces enroute to a straight sets win over American Donald Young. Raonic plays next, Friday night at 7 pm (EST), taking on Germany’s Benjamin Becker. Thursday, Montreal’s Eugenie Bouchard advanced with a straight sets win over Holland’s Kiki Bertens.
