GANDER MUSICAL RETURNS HOME

The Canadian musical that details the stories how the events of 9-11 impacted the Newfoundland town of Gander, is returning to the the community that inspired it.
COME FROM AWAY
Two special benefit performances of “Come From Away” are planned for Gander on Oct. 29th.
More than 6,500 people had their aircraft diverted to Gander when all planes were ordered to land after the terror attacks on September 11, 2001.  The show chronicles their visit and how the locals opened up their hearts and their homes.

David Hein co-wrote the show with his wife  Irene Sankoff wrote the show in co-operation with Sheridan College in Oakville.  The musical is set to hit Broadway in February
