Apple computer founder Steve Jobs is among those being honoured as the International Photography Hall of Fame celebrates its 50th anniversary.
Jobs will join renowned photographers like Annie Leibovitz, Ernst Haas, and Ken Burns in the St. Louis based hall.
Jobs wasn’t a photographer but is being recognized for Apple leading the charge on mobile imaging since the original iPhone contained an amazing (at the time) 2-megapixel camera.
In making the announcement, the Hall said Jobs helped create products that revolutionized the creative world and became essential tools for designers, filmmakers, music producers and photographers.
The inductees will be officially honoured with an event October 28th.
