Donald Trump keeps ratcheting up the tough talk.
Earlier this week, the U.S. president said any nuclear threat from North Korea would be met with ”fire and fury”.
He followed that up Thursday by saying that statement may not have had the impact he wanted.
”That statement may not be tough enough (reporter then asks what would be tougher) You’ll see.  You’ll see.”
Then Friday morning the president described the American military as being ”locked and loaded”.
Asked later in the day by reporters just what he meant.
”I think it’s pretty obvious.  We are looking at that very carefully and I hope that they (North Korea) are going to fully understand the gravity of what I said.  And what I said is what I mean.”
The president went on to say leader Kim Jong Un will ”regret it fast” if he threatens or acts against Guam, or any other U.S. territory or ally.

Meanwhile, Foreign Affairs Minister Chrystia Freeland says Canada stands by allies like the U.S. when they are threatened but says we need to find ways to de-escalate the situation.
