PEARSON TERMINAL THREE HAS A BAGGAGE PROBLEM

Toronto’s Pearson International Airport says passengers travelling out of Terminal Three should consider flying with carry-on bags only.

That’s because the airport is experiencing what it describes as “an automated baggage sortation issue” – affecting departing bags.

Technicians are working to restore the system – which first started experiencing problems last night.

Additional staff are on hand and airlines are using a simplified process to speed up check-in but Pearson is advising travellers wanting to check bags to arrive extra early.
