A woman from California who sued Johnson and Johnson for causing her ovarian cancer – has been awarded $415 million dollars – by jury in Los Angeles.
Eva Echeverria had alleged that the company failed to adequately warn consumers about the potential risks – of regularly applying talcum powder for feminine hygiene.
Johnson and Johnson plans to appeal the decision.
