You’d think its current complex in Seattle, that takes up just over 8-million square feet, has 33 buildings, 24 restaurants and is home to over 40,000 employees would be enough.
But Amazon’s talking expansion, searching for secondary headquarters, that would be filled with as many as 50,000 new full-time employees over the next 15 years.

John Tory says Toronto’s a ”prime candidate.”
In a statement the mayor says ”We are a bold, innovative city that has plenty of homegrown tech talent.  We also continue to attract talent and companies from around the world…I will be leading the charge to make the case that Amazon should call Toronto home.”
Interested cities have until October 19 to apply through a special website.
Amazon says it’ll make up its mind next year.
