The cast of Broadway’s “Come From Away,” the story of how the people of Gander, Newfoundland looked after 7-thousand airplane passagers, rerouted on 911,  doesn’t usually perform on Mondays.  However, they’ll be working today to remember the 16th anniversary of the terror attack.
The cast will perform the song “Prayer” from the Tony award winning musical at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum in New York.  The “Come from Away” cast is among 2,500 volunteers who will pack 500,000 non-perishable meals as part of the September 11th National Day of Service and Remembrance.
80,000 of the meals will go to provide relief to the victims of “Harvey” in and around Houston, Texas. .
