Once again, the sign that drew people by the thousands to Sam Sniderman’s record shop on Yonge Street is shining in downtown Toronto.

The “Sam the Record Man” sign was installed atop the Toronto Public Health building on Victoria Street over night.

The sign was taken down in 2008 after the record store closed for good.  The Yonge Street space was taken over by Ryerson University which agreed to restore the sign as a condition of the sale.
