The Ontario PC leadership race is heating up as former MPP Christine Elliott hopes the third time’s a charm announcing on Twitter ” I’m in ! ”
The former deputy Tory leader lost in previous leadership contests to Tim Hudak in 2009 and Patrick Brown in 2015.
There are unconfirmed reports that Caroline Mulroney will also run with a source saying to expect the official word in the coming days.
Meanwhile, Doug Ford told Zoomer Radio’s ”Fight Back” with Libby Znaimer, he’s in it to win it but if he does not then he will not jump back into the race for mayor.
At city hall, John Tory, who beat Ford in the last election, says he’s focused on doing the job he was elected to do and will focus on his re-election when quote ”the time for campaigning comes.”
