'AMERICA'S PASTOR' BILLY GRAHAM DIES AT 99

Billy Graham, one of the most influential preachers of the 20th Century, has died at the age of  99 after battling cancer and pneumonia.

He passed away this morning at his home in North Carolina.
Graham became a Christian at the age of 16 after hearing a travelling evangelist.
He became an ordained minister five years later.
In his 60-year career, it’s estimated he reached over 200-million through public appearances and millions more on radio and TV.
Graham, a friend of U.S. presidents from Truman to Nixon to Obama, preached his final revival meeting in New York in 2005 when he was 86.
President Donald Trump paid tribute on social media.
”The GREAT Billy Graham is dead.  There was nobody like him!  He will be missed by Christians and all religions.  A very special man, ” said Trump on Twitter.
The Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, said he was an example to generations of modern Christians.
