Vic Fedeli thanked PC caucus members for ”trusting” him to take on the interim party leadership just over a month ago.
In his last remarks to them ahead of the announcement this weekend of a new leader, he gave the party a ”clean bill of health”.
Fedeli says he’s reined in spending, fixed the party’s IT system and says fundraising numbers are at ”record highs” and continue to rise.
He also says volunteer numbers have gone up ”21-fold.”
Fedeli also urged caucus and staff to ”stand united” behind whoever wins the leadership.
Online voting’s underway with the deadline for registration 8pm Wednesday and voting scheduled to end noon Friday.
Christine Elliott, Tanya Granic Allen, Caroline Mulroney or Doug Ford will be declared the new leader Saturday.
