Doug Ford says protesters ”went a little too far” when they brought a fake guillotine to the front lawn of Queen’s Park yesterday during a demonstration, so his office has contacted the OPP to investigate.

The premier says the May Day protesters went ”way overboard” and accuses the Opposition of supporting them.
Community and Social Services Minister Lisa MacLeod, who was threatened by parents over the government’s changes to autism funding, says the protesters beheaded an effigy of the premier.
”This is disgusting and it is a sick act that has been condoned by the opposition,” added MacLeod.
”It’s important to know that this is the real NDP.”
Deputy NDP Leader Sara Singh says the party ”condemned” such a violent prop at protest.
”That type of behaviour is inappropriate and it’s not something our party supports,” adds Singh, who goes on to say it’s up to police to investigate and determine if criminal charges should be laid.
