More than 50-letters that Zoomer legend Leonard Cohen sent to his muse are headed to a Christie’s auction next month.
Marianne in this case, Marianne was Marianne Ihlen whose influence on Cohen lingered long after their time in the 60’s in Greece ended.
The letters will be on display in New York before going to auction June 5th to the 13th.
The sale is titled  “Write Me and Tell Me Your Heart: Leonard Cohen’s Letters to Marianne.”  It features largely handwritten and some typed letters along with postcards, some photos and a few personal items among the lots.
Cohen died in September 2016 at the age of 82.
