Musicians with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra have filed an unfair labour practice complaint against the orchestra’s management as the new season approaches.
The union representing the musicians filed the charge with the U-S National Labor Relations Board claiming the orchestra hasn’t bargained in good faith regarding wages, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
A bargaining session between the musicians and management ended without agreement Monday.
The musicians picketed with their instruments yesterday.
The first performance of the 2019-2020 season is scheduled for Saturday.
