On April 30, 1960 The Everly Brothers were at No. 1 on the UK singles chart. Their hit Cathy’s Clown was on the UK charts for seven weeks and was one of the first songs released by Warner Bros. Cathy’s Clown sold eight million copies, making it the duo’s biggest-selling records.
