At the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police, the Chiefs declared they want a new law that would force people to hand over passwords to their computer with a judge’s consent. Chiefs say it’s a necessary tool to nab criminals skulking around in the dark corners of the internet, while civil liberties groups think this is an attack on privacy. Former Toronto Police Officer and Security Expert Ross McLean joins Libby in studio to talk about the request.
