As Toronto continues to expand its bike lane network, frustrated motorists can only sit in traffic and watch that back up. The latest city thoroughfare to see bike lanes is Woodbine Avenue in Toronto’s east end, where hundreds of area residents have signed a petition to get rid of the bike lanes which they say are causing traffic nightmares and making their neighbourhoods unsafe as drivers opt to use side streets and commercial vehicles have huge problems making turns. We speak with Councillor Janet Davis and Lawyer and Bicycle Advocate Albert Koehl.
