New reports reveal our government is willing to make concessions on supply management which means opening our market to cheaper American dairy products. A new Angus Reid poll on the subject finds Canadian are almost evenly split as long as farmers are compensated. 37 Z% of Canadians saying Canada should end supply management in order to secure a trade deal with the U.S., while 34 % say Canada should still stand firm in support of the system. The remaining three-in-ten (30%) are unsure. We speak with Angus Reid Institute Research Associate, Dave Korzinski.
