Do you have any long-forgotten traffic tickets? It is time to rack your brain and try to remember. After last year’s auditor general’s report, the province decided to get tough about going after unpaid fines, and for some drivers, the result is a license suspension, seemingly out of the blue. There is sometimes no warning. The first thing you get is a very official letter informing you that your license is suspended. It’ll cost several hundred dollars and take about 7 days for you to be reinstated. And the suspension will stay on your record.
