Libby Znaimer is joined by Toronto Councillor James Pasternak, for Ward 6 York Centre and Chair of the Infrastructure and Environment Committee, Councillor Mike Colle, for Ward 8 Eglinton-Lawrence and Councillor Paula Fletcher of Ward 14 Toronto-Danforth.

Yet another pedestrian has been killed in the city by a driver. It happened in Scarborough – the worst area for deadly crashes. A 50-year-old man, was struck down by a vehicle last night at around 8 PM near the intersection of Lawrence Avenue East and Warden.

This brings the number of pedestrian deaths to a total of 27 for the year so far. Nine of those deaths were due to crashes involving heavy trucks.
