JUDY HENSKI DIES AT 85

She’s being remembered as a distinctive voice on the American folk music scene in the 1960’s and may have been the inspiration for the movie character Annie Hall.

Judy Henske’s versatile vocals were a trademark as she sang folk, soul, blues and pop.

She was also known for her comic stage patter and early on worked with a young comedian named Woody Allen.  He later co-wrote and directed the 1977 movie “Annie Hall” which starred Diane Keaton

Judy Henske has died in hospice care in Los Angeles.

She was 85.
