Ontario is reporting 728 new cases and five deaths from COVID-19.
While that’s down from Friday’s 793 new cases, it’s still up from 661 last Saturday.
The latest cases bring the seven-day running average up to 635. That’s up from 625 on Friday and 559 a week ago.
Ontario continues to pause the raising of capacity limits as they monitor the continued rise in cases.
The province says of the new cases, 441 are in people who are not fully vaccinated or have an unknown vaccination status and 287 are in fully vaccinated individuals.
