Russian missiles continue to strike targets in Ukraine, including what many have seen as the safer western city of Lviv.

Lviv’s regional governor says there were four strikes on Lviv today, leaving seven people dead and 8 injured, including a child.
The strikes occurred as the southern Ukrainian port city of Mariupol sits on the brink of collapse, with a steel plant housing the city’s last known pocket of resistance.
The former head of the British Army, Richard Dannatt, says the Ukrainian forces defending Mariupol have few choices left.
“I’m afraid that remaining garrison in Mariupol, they don’t really have very many options. According to all reports that I’m hearing, they’re running very short of ammunition. And I think the Ukrainian forces generally are not able to resupply them. So I think it’s only a matter of time before Mariupol completely falls under Russian control,” explained Dannatt.
Some Mariupol civilians, including children, are also sheltering at the plant.
The relentless bombardment and street fighting in Mariupol have killed at least 21,000 people, by Ukrainian estimates.
