Queen Elizabeth the Second’s official death certificate confirms that the monarch died from “old age”.
Published Friday by National Records of Scotland, the document suggests the Queen died of natural causes due to advanced age.
It also offers the exact time and location of her death: Balmoral Castle at 3:10 p-m on September 8th at the age of 96.
The death certificate was signed by the queen’s daughter, Princess Anne.
The queen’s tomb is inside the King George VI Memorial Chapel, part of St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
Meantime, hundreds of royal fans have lined up outside Windsor Castle for the chance to pay their final respects to Queen Elizabeth II as the chapel where the late monarch is buried opened to the public for the first time since her death.
