It’s a good day to top up your gas tank!
Fuel prices in Ontario are projected to jump by 10-cents-a-litre just after midnight on Wednesday morning.
Industry Analyst Dan McTeague says the increase will be one of the three highest single day jumps Ontario has seen in the last decade.
The average price of a litre of gas in the GTA is currently at a $1.52.9 per litre. But on Wednesday, it will be a $1.62.9 for a litre of regular fuel.
Despite the 10 cents a litre hike, Ontario still has the lowest gas prices in the country.
On Friday, Metro Vancouver set a new North American all-time record at $2.41.9 per litre.
People in Manitoba have been seeing steady increases for over a month, reaching $1.86 per litre as of Monday.
