While the producers continue to downplay all the speculation, another name has surfaced, that may be in contention to play the world’s best known secret agent.
After a secret audition, which he apparently nailed, Aaron Taylor-Johnson is reportedly the front runner to replace Daniel Craig as 007.
Taylor-Johnson is a 32 year old English actor, best known for his portrayal of the title character in “Kick-Ass” and its 2013 sequel and the Marvel Cinematic Universe character Pietro Maximoff in Captain America.
Producer Barbara Broccoli maintains the next Bond film is a couple of years away and they’re looking for a 10 to 12 year commitment for the role.
In June, she promised that the 26th film in the franchise would “reinvent” James Bond, but admitted they were no closer to casting the role.
