King Charles’ first trip outside the UK as monarch is being postponed.
Protestors in France are continuing their demonstrations against a new law that increases the retirement age from 62 to 64.
The striking workers had already refused to provide red carpets for the trip, which was set to start Sunday in Paris. Yesterday, the city hall in Bordeaux was set on fire and that was one of the stops scheduled on the trip.
Most people in France viewed the trip as an unnecessary display of privilege.
