U.S. President Joe Biden says on Wednesday, he will sign legislation that will see $95-billion in war aid sent to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan.

The senate passed the bill last evening by a vote of 79-18, after months of delays and contentious debate over how involved the United States should be in foreign wars.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer says those who questioned America, including the leadership in Moscow, were wrong.

“Rest assured, America will never shrink from its responsibilities as a leader on the world stage,” Schumer explained, “Today, tonight we’ll make Vladimir Putin regret the day he questioned American resolve.”

The portion of aid for Ukraine, $61-billion, comes as the war-torn country is in desperate need of new firepower and as the Russian leader has stepped up his attacks.
