The Hollywood stunt performing community is mourning the passing of the ground breaking stuntwoman who stood in for Lynda Carter on TV’s “Wonder Woman.”

Jeannie Epper (above left) also did stunts for many of the most important women of film.

She has died of natural causes at her home in California.

Epper was considered one of the greatest at her craft.  In 2007, Entertainment Weekly labelled her “the greatest stuntwoman who ever lived.”

Epper’s parents were both stunt performers. She began her 70-year career at the age of 9.

Jeannie Epper was 83.
