Following years of collaboration between Artscape, The Daniels Corporation, Toronto Community Housing and members of the community, the new Regent Park Arts and Cultural Centre soon opens its doors.
There’s a ribbon cutting ceremony Thursday.
An open house will be held Saturday from noon until 4pm.
Then Sunday from 1pm until 9pm the centre’s courtyard will be the venue for the revival of a long-standing annual community tradition, Block-0-Rama; a free event featuring food, games, and live performances by local talent.
