Coming up this week on Finding Your Bliss, we have Naz Beheshti, the author of Pause. Breathe. Choose: Become the CEO of Your Well-Being. She is an executive wellness coach, speaker, Forbes contributor, and CEO and founder of Prananaz, a corporate wellness company improving leadership effectiveness, employee engagement and well-being, company culture, and business outcomes. Clients include Nike, Omega Institute, Columbia University, and Stanford University, just to name a few. Naz also co-founded Rise2Shine, a nonprofit, helping to alleviate the suffering of young children in Haiti.
Also on the program, we have children’s entertainer and singer-songwriter Kayla Goren. Kayla is a prominent figure in the children’s music industry. For the past 30+ years, Kayla has been teaching children and parents alike the joy that music can bring to their lives. Playing guitar and singing since she was nine years old, with a degree in music (BFA.Mu.) from York University, and as a music educator at Toronto’s Hillcrest Progressive School and Camp, and currently at Leo Baeck Day School, Kayla has established herself in the Toronto area, as a leader in schools and in parent-child interactive music programs. Kayla’s unique history as a performer, writer, entertainer and educator has allowed her to create music across all genres and has marked her place in the Toronto music scene. Kayla continues to pursue her adult singing, songwriting and live performances. Her children’s songwriting has resulted in three popular children’s CDs; The Purple Birthday Cake, a Chanukah collection entitled Come Spin with Me and the Parent’s Choice Award-winning Splish Splash Kerplash, as well as a live DVD of her annually celebrated Chanukah Concert.
