Saying it will give commuters more flexibility, the province will introduce over 300 new weekly GO Transit trips by month’s end.
This will include 15-minute weekend service frequency on parts of both the Lakeshore West and East lines.
Some trips along Lakeshore West, Lakeshore East, Milton, Kitchener, Barrie and Stouffville will be adjust to leave up to 9-minutes earlier or later to better align with ”actual travel times, and new and connecting services.”
Additional trains will also run on the Kitchener, Stouffville and Milton lines beginning April 28; just four-days ahead of a provincial by-election in Milton, where Doug Ford was for the announcement.
The vacancy was created when former PC MPP Parm Gill quit to run federally for the Tories.
